Includes nuritious postpartum meals / meal prep, light house work, referalls to local resources and education concernng breast / body feeding, perinatal mood disorders, sleep support, and infant development.

Includes educational, practical, and emotional support concerning the loss of an child / infant / fetus.

Includes educational, practical, and emotional support for folks undergoing an abortion, either at home, in clinic, or via text / phone call.

We are so pleased you have found Mackenzie Priest-Heck’s Doula Care, where we are committed to using evidence based research in upholding principles of care, advocacy, bodily autonomy, and community.

A doula’s committment is not to lead but to accompany.
Mackenzie Priest-Heck (they/she) is a queer postpartum, grief, and abortion doula based out of Los Angeles. Her passion for care work, bodily autonomy, and perinatal advocacy are foundational to her work as a doula.
Mackenzie completed their postpartum doula training with DONA International in 2022 and her grief / abortion doula training with The Midwifery Institute in 2023.
Alongside her doula work, Mackenzie is working towards completing her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Southern California, with the goal of becoming an advocate for perinatal mental health disorders within the mental health field.
